Les Amis has to be one of the earliest and most successful modern french restaurant in Singapore. Now there are many such similar restaurants around but it wasn’t so many years ago.
I ordered the 4 course set lunch priced at around SGD80++. There are cold and hot appetizers. My choice of cold appetizer is some lobster dish.

The hot appetizer is simply prawn i think but with a fanciful name.
This is the main course. It is really a tiny portion and it is probably the tinniest portion I have ever had in any western/fusion restaurant.
The dessert ‘Pithivier’ is quite special and tasty surprisingly. It is pie shaped and needs two to order so it can be split up.
