Ghim Moh Market has some of the best hawker food in Singapore. This is evident in the long queues in many of the stalls. Usually there are just a 2-3 long queues in any hawker centers but Ghim Moh has the most i think. I was wondering if it has anything to do with the fact that most hawker closed during Chinese New Year period so diners have less choice. However, this theory was quickly debunked as many stalls were already opened.
The meat is tender and the gravy very tasty but i find that it is a bit too salty. Overall still one of the better Chicken Rice stalls out there.
In case you find the Tong Fatt sounds familiar, it is because they are related to the Tong Fatt in ABC market. I didn’t noticed until someone told me. I checked back my past blog entry and found that they have the same name. Seems like there’s some truth in it. Of course, the picture with our Prime Minister also a further proof as it is displayed in both stalls.
Aw, this was an exceptionally good post. Taking a few minutes and actual effort to make a
good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate a whole lot and never
manage to get anything done.
