This is actually my very first visit to Shang Palace. I must say i am rather impressed by their service. I couldn’t help but compare the service standard between the various Shangri La I have been to in the region like Manila, KL, etc. Singapore is without a doubt having the best service. Probably because the boss Robert Kuok is based here? Oh, they even have someone playing the 琵 琶 in the restaurant.  It is rather relaxing hearing the music except certain parts when it sounded like enemy troops about to 攻城.

Well, enough of the service. How’s the food? Pretty good to be honest. The peking duck is good.

This should be fish maw soup but couldn’t quite differentiate one fish maw soup from another. 

This braised pork rib is good. Very tasty and good with the rice. It comes with some french flies looking bread which the kids loves. This is meant to be dipped with the sauce. We have about 4 servings of the bread.

2 types of cod fish. One is deep fried and the other is with some miso sauce. The miso sauce (i think but it looks like the picture below with the veggie is definitely better.

The deep fried one is well so so…

I loves bamboo clams with garlic. Couldn’t quite go wrong if it is steamed with garlic. Excellent!

Finish up with some ice cream with avocado dessert. I am not a desert person but my wife and kids love it. 

Total damage is SGD 215.
