For anyone that like crab bee hoon but don’t want to wait super long like the queue in geylang, this is not a bad alternative. Of course you cannot fight the geylang stall but you don’t need to wait that long. Well, that’s life. Sometimes you just need to compromise and not too much to compromise either.
The Long Ji bee hoon is tasty as it seem to absorb the gravy. The portion is huge too so enough for 4-5 pax to share. How’s the crab? Hmm…it is so tiny so i didn’t get to try but my fellow diners say it is fresh and sweet. Pardon the ugly ladle…i had to do a quick take as there were many pairs of hungry eyes with their chopsticks ready looking at me taking those pictures.

This is salted egg pumpkin. I am not a pumpkin fan but this dish taste good surprisingly.
Some special signature vegetable which i forgotten the name but surely worth trying.
The signature tofu is also very good, soft and delicious. It think it is cooked in some special pumpkin gravy.
Pork chop which is another of their signature dish. I do not know what is it about putting some orchid on the dish as a decor for those really old school restaurant and the orchid must be purple in colour. Does it really look more appetising with the flower or just the florist’s clever marketing tactics ?
