I finally got my braised duck fix again in JB. This is the Kwang Hoi braised duck which is in a town along the Tebrau highway. This is probably the version of braised duck i love most anywhere period. The stall is nothing to shout about but the taste is something else.
The duck was very tender and juicy unlike any braised duck i have tried. I can also taste the herbs in the duck. I regretted ordering such a small portion. Think this was quarter? The thing to take note is that they are closed on every Wednesday. That was what i kept forgetting as I came here on a few Wednesday before and they were closed.
The accompanying side dishes that you can order. Nothing spectacular about those as it is about the same everywhere.
Just couldn’t have enough of the duck and i hope to return soon again to order at least a half duck.
