While on the way back to Singapore from Ipoh, I had to choose a place to stopover for lunch and the choice is pretty clear. It is Klang’s bak kut teh. I had to go back to the Teluk Pulai Bak Kut Teh as it is one of the most famous and popular. I have tried Seng Huat and others too but find that Teluk Pulai is probably most suitable for my taste bud. This is my 2nd time visiting this store.
The big bones sticking out of the pot doesn’t look very appetizing but the taste of the soup is really good. My only complaint is that the meat is just too little.

Had to also try the dry version of the bak kut teh. The dry one is not as good as the store behind it (Restoran Fong Keow) which serve really good dry version. Don’t really know why they give me the pig leg version even though i ordered the small ribs. Well, just didn’t want to send it back as we are short of time.
I did not taste the chicken feet so i can’t comment. Looks gross but it is my father-in-law’s favourite. Just pictures to show that it is available for chicken feet lovers.
The next time i come here, i will try another store to find out which is my favourite.
