This is my 7-8 trips to kathmandu, Nepal. The kathmandu that most people has in their mind is so different from reality. This city is really polluted. The air smells of exhaust all the time plus the dust. It is better to wear mask when you are out on the road.

This is the No 1 mobile operator in Nepal. It is called Ncell and it is owned by the Swedish Telecommunication Giant, TeliaSonera. It is also the largest foreign investment in Nepal.

This is the pizzeria called Fire and Ice. It is said to be where the last crown prince Dipendra dated with his girlfriend from the Rana clan, before he went bersek and killed most of his family members and relatives. Both family has a long history of animosity and it is really a tragic story.

The famous temple in kathmandu itself. Makes quite a good picture even without the use of any filters. All pictures are taken with my smart phone.

I stayed in the Radisson Kathmandu. It is their 5 star standard but to developed world, it is more like a 3 star. My room is a superior room.

There is even a walk-in wardrope.

The view from my seat. I was really lucky as I was upgraded to business class on both leg of my journey by Silkair. That makes quite a difference for a 4+ hours flight.
