I had the privilege of eating at the famous Karatam Robatayaki in Sukhumvit Soi 49. I must say the experience is really refreshing. We just let them go omakase which basically means leaving it up to the chef. I think part of the fun is the anticipation with every dish.

This is how they serve. The ingredients are nicely layout infront of you and the chef sits, prepare and cook right before your eyes.
Baby squids.
Japanese tomatoes that are very sweet. Definitely not the type of tomatoes which usually eats.
Grilled mushroom to go with a little bit of salt.
I am not sure if they added something to the eggplant. Even this taste sweet.
Grilled meat…. think it is chicken, can’t recall.
Well, other dishes stole the limelight to this salad dish.
This dish is something unique. You have the grilled chicken that seem to consist of some tendons and you dipped it with the egg york. Really tasty.

Argh… why must they serve sweet potatoes. Not my favourite but that’s the last dish.
