I was disappointed with my Kam’s Roast visit a while ago at the Jewel’s branch but decided to try again at their first branch at Pacific Plaza since my cravings strikes. When this place started, there was long queues but now there is totally no queue. No just because of the covit situation but even before that there is hardly any queue. Not really sure why isn’t this famous establishment from Hong Kong a big hit here. The one in Hong Kong is always having long queues as it is considered one of the best roast meat there. Well, is it because they do not serve goose but only duck?

The duck is fatty but not super fatty so it gives a very nice texture when you chew on it. It is probably the sauce that makes the duck taste so good.

The char siew is really fatty though whereas the roast meat is very crispy. These are just the calefare as the lead actor is of course the roast duck.

The noodle is surprisingly good though not the best around. It taste just like the noodle standard you would experience in Hong Kong as the texture is springy and not soggy.

Overall, a good alternative since one cannot travel anymore for leisure. At least not for another year or so until the vaccine is out. Just not worth the hassle and the risk.
