We tried the wagyu burger and the pink snapper which happens to be one of the most popular dishes. The pink snapper is quite decent though i felt it tasted a bit bland. This is probably the first time i have a whole fish in a western restaurant. Usually it is a piece of seabass or cod fish cooked in similar fashion. Whole fish in chines restaurant is a common thing of course. The wagyu gives a stronger flavour. It definitely taste better than MacDonalds (i know not fair to compare with Mac) but that’s about the closest comparison i can draw. I never ordered any other burgers in any restaurant before.
I think this restaurant tries to bring quality italian food to the masses so they try to position it family friendly and not fine dining. Will i come again? Yeah sure but not again if I need to wait another 45 mins now that I have tried and the hype is no longer there. Is it worth a 45 mins wait? Definitely not. I rather wait 45 mins for a plate of famous chay kway teow.
