This boutique hotel was recommended by a friend who frequents Stockholm. It is indeed a refreshing change to the usual business type of hotel. HTL Kungsgatan is just minutes walk to the central Stockholm station thus making it very convenient when you take the airport express.

I love the open foyer which gives a very open and spacious feeling. The common desk is where you can work and it has power plugs.

The foyer is just beside the bar area so making it rather inviting.

There’s is not really an official reception and this is setup a little like a cafe.

Check-in is self service and then you just activate your own key card. Well, mine didn’t work as the room door batteries ran out and causes a lot of inconvenience going up and own chasing them to fix it. It is worst especially when you just arrive and wanting to freshen up.

The interior decor is not too bad and very modern.

But wait a minute….there’s no window!! What the heck!! What kind of room has no window? I asked the staff and they told me i have to select one with a window and it cost extra…WTF?? I am already paying USD250 for this room. Fail!! Last time i am going to stay here.
