I was back to my favourite wanton mee in Johore. This is the Heng Heng Wanton Mee at Pontian and it is about 1.5 hours drive from Singapore. The pontion wanton mee version you see in many of the Singapore coffee shops or hawker center is from here. This shop should be the original and the rest are franchise though i am not sure if they are related at all. The noodle texture here is definitely better than many of the shops back home as i think they probably are passing off some normal noodles as the pontian style noodle.

As for the wanton and fishball, you can forget about them as they are the calefare. The star is the noodle itself.
As you can see not really crowded. I guess not many people will drive so far to have a bowl of wanton mee..
