I have not been to the Hainanese Delicacy Chicken Rice stall for many years until today. It is without a doubt one of the better local food in town but not the best chicken rice in Singapore. The chicken is tender and juicy but the gravy is a little plain and so is the rice, not so fragrant. The soup is just mildly tasty. Well, good for chicken rice after shopping or lunchtime meal if you work here but won’t travel just for this. It is no doubt still a hot favourite as you need to queue if you come during rush hours.
