My poor travel blog. I admit that i have really neglected this blog. I was just too busy with my other blog that i have no time for this. However, i make it a point to update this as soon as i return from my recent trip.

This is my trip to Stockholm. I transited via London Heathrow as it is still one of my preferred transit stop. I don’t quite like Frankfurt as all instructions are in German and I find it very confusing. I feel much better in Heathrow airport even though it takes slightly longer time to get Stockholm due to the direction.

This is some pictures of the Heathrow airport. It is very vibrant (perhaps it is because it is abit small and crowded).

This is one of the Star Alliance lounges (Scandinavian Airllines). Pretty decent food. I would say not too bad. One of the better ones I have been to.

I stayed at the Hotel J at Nacka Strand. It is a delightful waterfront hotel and the rooms are nice and comfortable as well.

This is their restaurant or club house. Really nice decor which feels more like a museum than restaurant.

Yes, it really feels like Xmas over there.

The express train from Stockholm central station to the Arlanda airport. Fast (travels at 200km/hr) , clean and efficient. I would suggest to take the train to airport during winter as buses do not have winter tyres so it has to travel very very slow to prevent skidding.

This is the Singapore Airlines lounge. Only when I return then was I told that there’s a Singapore Airline lounge. I have been going to the SAS lounge all these while…. Anyway, I stuff myself with rice and bee hoon after being deprived for days in Stockholm.
