The wait list for Breadstreet Kitchen is about 3 weeks. I am a fan of Gordon Ramsay and have been to the Breadstreet Kitchen in London near St Paul. The decor in London is a little different and seems to be more mass market with huge sitting area and very open concept. As for the Singapore branch, it is a lot smaller and appear more posh. Unfortunately, I am not blown away by the dishes. It is definitely above average but just didn’t walk away that impressed especially after waiting for 3 weeks. The male caucasian waiter that served us was not exactly that friendly or helpful either. When one of my friend asked what’s good, he says ‘well everything is good as we are a Gordon Ramsay Restaurant’.   What arrogance! I can name a few things that’s not good both here (including him) and in London.

Back to the food, I am not really sure if my taste bud has become more picky over the years. I was really wowed by Ember restaurant the first time i visited and remains one of my all time favourite western restaurant but not this one.

This is the crackling pork (can’t recall what’s the name of the dish) but it is probably my favourite. However, it taste just like your neighbourhood roast pork.

This should be the lamp. We all had a bit of difficulty chewing it. Maybe it is too raw.

This is the safest dish of all, the cod fish. Can’t go too wrong with cod fish but just didn’t quite leave an impression. I think i ordered the same Cod fish in London too. Well, overall a little overhyped and expensive lunch. Walking off a little disappointed overall including the service experience. I definitely have a better experience in London.
