I went to Fukuoka for the very first time. It is a much quieter place than those major cities in Japan but a nice change. I stayed at the Nikko Hotel and it is nothing to shout about. Just a typical japanese business hotel.

It’s the best time to go onset when you go japan so this time i didn’t miss it too. I went to the Namiha onsen. This is a family type of onsen so if you are spotting any tattoo, they may not allow you in.

Of course, there’s no photo of the onsen inside as you are supposed to be butt naked. It is a very pleasant and modern onsen with both indoor and outdoor hot springs. Definitely recommended.

These are the surroundings near the onsen. It happen to be near a port to some of the islands.

Fukuoka is the birthplace of many ramen and this is one of them. Ippudo Ramen. They have also expanded to Singapore and have a branch in Mandarin Gallery. If you think i am going to say it taste better in the founding place, you are absolutely correct. It is really fantastic, both the stock and the noodle. This is serious good stuff!
