Read quite a lot about the french restaurant Le Bouchon at Patpong and went to try it out. I think it is really overhyped. The place is so dimly lit, looks dirty, located among the sleazy place (Patpong). The one thing that i can agree with most of the reviews on the tripadvisor are the cockroaches. Small cockroaches can be found running along the walls so i really don’t want to even imagine what goes on in the kitchen. To be fair, the food is not too bad. I had the beef fillet and i quite like it but definitely not the environment and ambience.
For those who have seen the movie Hangover II, this is they filmed one of the roof top scene. It is known as the state tower building and home to the lebua hotel. The restaurant is known as the Sirocco and it has an excellent view. I must try it during my next visit.
