Tian Lai again @ Gelang Patah

I detour to Gelang Patah during Tuesday for dinner and was pleasantly surprised that Tian Lai is not crowded at all unlike the crazy weekends. It was about 6pm then. The food came fast and furious after we placed our orders.

The honey chicken is a signature dish and it taste great. For some strange reasons residents of Gelang Patah seems to be obsessed with honey chicken. Their competitor Chua Kee few houses away also has honey chicken as their signature dish.

The curry pork is also very good and goes very well with rice.

This calefare is a tofu dish for my vegetarian friend. Sigh…he didn’t know what he missed in life.

Another calefare, the morning glory or kang kong. As usual, kang kong can’t go too wrong.

It is a seafood restaurant but bamboo clams is the only seafood we ordered. They must be thinking cheap bastards!
