People’s Palace in Makati Manila

This is a very surprising find in Manila. It came highly recommended by a local chinese in Manila thus a little more reliable as they should have similar taste buds. People’s Palace is very conveniently located in Makati’s green belt 3. This has to be the best food i have tried during my stay. It is not the traditional thai food but some sort of modern Thai without too far a departure from the original Thai taste.

One of their signature dish, Thai salad.

This is an appetizer spring roll filled with meat.

Hard boiled eggs.

Another Thai appetizer.

Deep fried mushrooms.

The morning glory is really fragrant and a must try.

Some sort of special noodles and one of their signature dish.

Some lamp curry.

Mussels.

Prawn in Basils.

The verdict? Generally all dishes are good. However, if you want to try, you will need to book early. This was my third attempt after being fully booked for consecutively three nights. Even when i succeeded, my booking was for 9pm. Well, now i know why.
