I had lunch at Pek Kio Market and was reminded that it has some of the best hawker food in this small hawker center.

This is the good spice carrot cake. I like the dark carrot cake as it taste sweeter due to the dark soy sauce. Just be prepared to wait a little longer. There are only about a 4-5 people in front of me but i waited for at least 10 minutes. The stall lady is also very forgetful. Just few 1-2 minutes after collecting my money, she ask if i have paid and this scene is repeated a few times along the queue.

This is the tong siew fried rice stall. I tried the hor Fun. Anyway, they only sell 3 dishes, fried rice, hor fun and oyster omelette, all at only $2.50. The dish is not bad but will try their fried rice next time. There are so many good dishes here so i think i need to come back many times more in order to try the rest.
