I brought my family to the rather new waterpark in desaru last year so i decided that I cannot missed this as this is near the vicinity. I have always been a fan of the Malaysia style their Bak Kut Teh as it has strong herbal taste and much less pepperish. Kiang Kee Bak Kut Teh is also on the east coast of Malaysia so it is just a slight detour (approximately 51km) from Desaru Hardrock hotel.
I simply love the rustic feel of the stall. A simple open air stall in the middle of nowhere.
As expected, the soup base is strong herbal and the type that i loved. It is not just the pork ribs but includes the internal organs and bean curds, a very typical Malaysian style Bak Kut Teh.
In terms of taste, this is by far my favourite Bak Kut Teh in Johor and comparable with those in Klang/KL. I will even drive here just for this while we are in Johor. Well, that’s provided my family don’t mind.
