I had some interesting lunch today. Went to the Hashida Sushi at Mandarin Gallery in Orchard Road. All the sushi were made in front of you so needless to say, we had to wait quite long. Not a good place to dine if you are in a rush. Our seven pieces of sushi took us more than one hour from start to finish. Got to be some really handcrafted sushi. I didn’t managed to catch all the names of the fishes but still somehow still managed to catch ‘fatty tuna, golden snapper?, yellow tail’ and that’s about all i can recall. I am not good with people names, let alone fishes.

Only seven small pieces of sushi but guess what’s the damage? SGD80 per pax or SGD11 per piece sushi. What the fish? To be fair, it taste pretty good but a bit too pricey. Another problem is after this meal, we still need to find lunch…..
