This is one of my favourite braised duck and it has to be one of the best kept secret. It is located in a coffee shop in level one or basement 1. Bukit Timah Plaza is very confusing, what you thought of level 1 is actually basement 1 there. Sorry, i didn’t see any name on their stalls. Anyway, there are probably only one coffee shop style eating place there.

The duck is very tender and the serving rather generous. I usually ordered half a duck to be shared with my family of 3 adults and 2 child.

Tau Pok is one of my favourite so i always order them too. Not forgetting their herbal soup, really tasty. Total damage is only $24.

Oh but the most surprising thing is the stallholder (or assistant). He is probably the most friendly fellow i have seen. Usually they are very rude but this guy never fails to bring on his megawatt smile and call you boss like 10 times (even for one plate of duck rice). If there’s a most friendly hawker competition, he will surely win hands down. I was taken aback when he first served me and i thought he don’t quite fit in among them but then years later, he is still there. What a rare find and well done. Bring joy to everyone that eat his duck rice :).
